Registration Plates
Registration Plates are the actual physical items that you affix to your vehicle to show the vehicle’s registration number or index mark. Amendments were made to British Legislation as of 1st December 2005 to combat number plate fraud and which means that now you can only buy your registration plates from manufacturers who are registered with the DVLA.
Anyone manufacturing car numbers must see proof of identity as well as proof that you are entitled to use the registration number before they can manufacture the registration plates.
The Registration Plates supplier must see one item from each of the categories listed below and documents must be original, copies are not acceptable.
